Soccer Coach Training Opportunities
Coach Certification Process
Coaches will also have to register for ALL age groups and will have training provided for their appropriate levels
There is online training required before the In-person practical session can be taken before the season starts.
This LINK will take your Coaches directly to the Alberta Soccer Site to sign up for their courses. Coaches may begin immediately taking their on-line portion of their courses. The on-field portion will be scheduled as soon as dates are available.Coaches will be required to pay up front for these Courses -
please submit your receipt to your Home Club for reimbursement
ON-LINE COACH CERTIFICATION
Coaching Soccer in Canada 2hrs - (All Ages) $20.00
Active Start 1.5 hrs - (4 to 6 years) $20.00
Fundamentals 1 hr- (6 to 9 Years) $20.00
Learning to Train 1.5 hrs - (9 to 12 years) $30.00
Soccer For Life 2 hrs - (13 years Plus) $30.00
CASA will be setting up practical On field Courses for Coaches

Below is the link to the CASA Website describing the levels as well as a Direct link to start your Certification, including Making Ethical Decisions and Respect in Sport.
RESPECT IN SPORT at this time is still being Fully funded by CASA from our Jump Start Grant. This is an opportune time to complete this training. CASA reimburses 50% of all costs for Coach training directly to the Clubs, We will be reimbursing all Coaches training at club level. Head Coach requires Full Certification
-Online Coaching Session, On-field session
-Police Check, Respect in Sport
Assistant Coaches require
-Police Check and Respect in Sport
Coaches will be required to pay up front for their on-line session.
CDSA will reimburse once all training is complete. The On-Line Portion MUST be completed before attending a Practical Session
